Dialogue to cooperation
China and US should join hands to meet common political and economic challenges in the post-global economic crisis era
The second round of the Strategic and Economic Dialogue (S&ED) between China and the United States that begins on Monday is expected to be different from the first that was held in Washington in July last year.
While the first S&ED was held to push forward all-round cooperation at a time when bilateral ties were progressing smoothly, the second's aim is to repair and stabilize bilateral ties that have been marked by tension as well as compromise.
