Highlights of the Czech pavilion programs
1.Weeks of Czech Art and Culture, the Monkey King Exhibition (May 1-19, Oct 9-31)
The pavilion will delight China and world with the Monkey King, one of the greatest Chinese legendary heroes, who has lived in the hearts of Chinese people for more than 500 years, with illustrations by Zdenek Sklenr.
2.The National Theater Ballet (Czech national day on May 17)
The crops de ballet of the National Theatre occupies a special place in the development of Czech ballet as the largest ensemble in the Czech Republic. The National Theatre Ballet represents one of the most artistic and interesting ensembles in the Czech Republic, with 50 dancers drawn mainly from the Czech Republic but also from Russia, Slovakia, Hungary, Australia, UK, Germany and Italy.
3.Hockey Passion
Czechs are very passionate about sport. When there are major ice hockey victories, they spill into the city streets in celebration. In this piece of art, the Old Town Square in Prague will be turned into the site of the largest gathering of ice hockey fans.
