Unauthorized constructions in Haidian to be demolished

Unauthorized constructions in as many as 20 villages will be demolished in Haidian district within three years, including Tangjialing where more than 50,000 non-local residents stay.

Tangjialing, a village in northwest Beijing, is famous for having the largest number of residents originally from outside Beijing and recent graduates on relatively low incomes.

It also has the highest proportion of unauthorized constructions.
