Man executed for killing wife, mutilating body

A 41-year-old Beijing man has been executed for the murder and dismemberment of his ex-wife.

Li Jia, the press officer with No 1 Intermediate Court, told METRO on Wednesday that Ren Liwen had been working for a property company at the time of the killing in March 2008.

Li said Ren, who had a senior school education from a Beijing institution, had been feuding with his ex-wife, surnamed Liu, over the division of their property following their divorce.
