SEOUL: The Republic of Korea (ROK) will send hand sanitizers to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) next Tuesday to help stem the spread of the H1N1 virus there, a day after the previously proposed date, the government in Seoul said Friday.
The DPRK cited an unspecified procedural matter and asked the ROK to delay the delivery of hand sanitizers, Seoul's Unification Ministry said.
A 27-member ROK delegation will deliver sanitizers worth one billion won $867,000 to the DPRK via the road to the border town of Kaesong, according to the ministry.
