Economy, climate change set to top Westerwelle visit

Economic issues and climate change will top the agenda of visiting German Vice-Chancellor and Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, experts said.

The high-level visit comes after the inauguration of Germany's new Cabinet.

Westerwelle will meet Premier Wen Jiabao, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and Zhang Ping, director of China's National Development and Reform Commission, the country's top economic planning body, the German embassy in China said.
