Go Fendi to be trendy

Italian fashion house Fendi will open its Asian flagship store at Shanghai Plaza 66 at the end of this month, with a couple of limited edition creations. Here's Beijing Weekend Guide's peek into what's coming, as customers in Beijing can hope to see them in city store soon, too.

If you are a Fendi fan, the "Shanghai 2009 Limited Edition" Peekaboo Handbag must rank at the top of your to-buy list. It has been created by Silvia Fendi, artistic director of Fendi Accessories.

The bag's understated luxury comes in black goat leather on the outside, with red color and gold beads on the inside. Priced at 29,800 yuan, the Peekaboo handbags are limited to 20 pieces worldwide.
