Rescuers aid villages hit by Ketsana

Residents wait to be evacuated in Manila yesterday after Tropical Storm Ketsana set off the worst flooding in the Philippine capital and neighboring provinces in more than 42 years. Reuters

MANILA: Rescuers were still plucking bodies and drenched survivors from muddy floodwaters yesterday as Tropical Storm Ketsana tore through the northern Philippines and left at least 106 people dead and missing.
