Defense mobilization law to be reviewed

By Peng Kuang and Cui Xiaohuo | China Daily | Updated: 2009-04-14 07:39

The law is crucial to how the nation marshals its military and civilian resources during disasters like the Sichuan earthquake almost one year ago.

Legislation on national defense mobilization - a basic law in many countries - has been delayed for many years because of military and government reforms.
