Fight against plagiarism

The whole society is slipping into a mode of indifference toward plagiarism, says an article in Shenzhen Economic Daily. Following is an excerpt:

Liu Ying, a professional writer from Hebei province, recently became a popular name in the country, not for his good work, but for plagiarism.

Accused of lifting articles, originally written by others and passing them off as his own, Liu was forced to resign from his post of the chairman of the writers' association of Chengde, Hebei province.
