High-tech sector to get more backing

WUHAN: Premier Wen Jiabao has called for achieving healthy and rapid economic growth through technical innovation and industrial upgrading. More government support will go to high-tech industries such as electronics, software services and bio-medicine, Wen said during a three-day visit to Hubei province that ended yesterday.
