New escort ships for Somali waters

ZHANJIANG, Guangdong: A second group of Chinese navy vessels consisting of a destroyer, a frigate and a supply ship will set sail for the Gulf of Aden tomorrow to replace a flotilla sent earlier to guard against pirates.
The first warships had escorted 104 vessels and rescued three foreign merchant ships from pirate attacks.
