Chinese sponsors got a chance to shine on the international stage at last year's Beijing Olympics and now the platform is set for them to follow suit at the Asian Games next winter in Guangzhou, Guangdong province.

JDB Group, a Hong Kong-based private beverage company best known for its popular herbal tea brand Wang Laoji, is the latest to join in the Asian sport's gala to expand the group's presence in the region.

The company reached an agreement with the Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee (GAGOC) yesterday to become the exclusive non-alcoholic beverage provider (excluding sports beverages).
