Sympathy for Mr Shoes

The Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at US President George W. Bush is now known in my college as Mr Shoes. We had a heated discussion about Mr Shoes. Some classmates said it was not proper to attack Bush despite the fact he launched the Iraq War, which has brought great suffering to the Iraqi people. People should show some respect to leaders of another country.

However, people are more inclined to show sympathy for Mr Shoes, because the Iraqis have suffered so much due to Bush's excuse that it was an "intelligence mistake".
