Van Bommel salutes Bayern resurgence

BERLIN: Captain Mark van Bommel heralded Bayern Munich's 3-1 win over Arminia Bielefeld as their best performance of the season so far to go third in the table while Hoffenheim's fairytale continues as they regained top spot.

"It was one-way traffic," said Dutchman van Bommel about Saturday's win over Bielefeld at Munich's Allianz Arena. "Bielefeld posed no threat at all.

"We totally controlled the game, although too many passes went astray in the first half.
