Climber moved to safety

China Daily | Updated: 2008-05-18 06:49

WENCHUAN, Sichuan: Brakus Bogdan had gone missing for five days. A report even said he had been pulled out from under the debris of a building in Taoguan village near Wenchuan county, the epicenter of the deadly earthquake.

But the 62-year-old German national had been living safely in the remote village, where the local people took care of his needs.

People's Liberation Army soldiers found Bogdan early on Thursday.
