Don't ruin a worthy gift

The Olympics was a gift to humanity from the Ancient Greeks. Ancient Greece was one of the great civilizations of the human race, and the Olympic Games reflect that. It is supposed to be about friendly competition and not a political means to an end.

As China carries the Olympic torch, I believe modern China has come of age as it turns outward and opens up to the rest of the world. We must not let some extremist groups spoil this moment for the Chinese people and people of the world.
