A newly-wed couple used pedicabs to marry in Nanchang, the capital of east China's Jiangxi Province on Saturday.

The groom personally escorted his bride to the wedding in a pedicab and more than 30 relatives and friends followed in a dozen more, reports the Jiangnan City News.

This unusual group caused quite a stir on the streets as drivers slowed down their cars to take a closer look.

Although both the bride and the groom's families are quite well-off, they decided to use the environmentally friendly pedicabs for their wedding instead of a luxurious motorcade. The couple felt their wedding entourage is quite fashionable.
