When you feel homesick(That's Shanghai)
Updated: 2007-05-10 08:42 With its spacious interior and rustic decor, Servus Vienna attempts to bring some old-world charm to the New Factories. But, unless we are mistaken, neither Britney nor Black Eyed Peas, both in heavy rotation on the restaurant's playlist, is Austrian. Well, with its expansive and adventurous menu, this lapse in musical judgment can be overlooked. Set No.1 (RMB 99), which included salad, soup, a delicious ham-filled pork and apple strudel, provided very good value. However, Set No.2 (RMB 129) was disappointing: the main course, a penne dish, was drowned in a bland tomato and cheese sauce. Overall, the food is only average, and with its relatively high prices, it's likely that only homesick Austrians would be compelled to return. Servus Vienna |
