The city's new favorite(noblesse.com)
Updated: 2006-12-05 15:33 The FCC (Foreign Culture Club) has recently opened on Julu Road and is fast becoming city favorite. It is comprised of four individual outlets in one beautiful old colonial mansion. The elegant, gorgeous dining areas have been created by designer Filippo Gabbiani of Bund 18. The outlet to the left of the entrance-Terrace-is contemporary Mediterranean in style, with white walls and white furniture setting off a minimalist yet sophisticated décor, for an easy and intimate atmosphere. Upstairs is a comfortable terrace, with walls of mosaic glass and beautiful exotic floor tiles. This restaurant serves innovative Mediterranean dishes, fresh seafood, and a great selection of classic wines. To the right of the main entrance you will discover the enchanting South-East Asian atmosphere of subtle lighting, colonial settees and chairs, and casual colorful cushions with candles flickering on the tables. Here the FCC Vietnam serves delicious authentic Vietnamese food. FCC's walls are full of Art Deco style handcrafted wall bricks with FCC lettering, lending the house a stylish decor that is both unique and individual. Perhaps most significantly though, the cuisine is unforgettable, whether it is the authentic Mediterranean dishes or the Vietnamese made of imported ingredients, all are superlative.
