Located in the Jinjiang Hotel on South Maoming Road, the two level Chinoise Story has only recently opened. Designer Junpei Yamagiwa has effectively used the existing classic architecture and adeptly incorporated modern design concepts and elements, creating a dining environment that is brimming with luxury and splendor.

The restaurant has a capacity for 180 guests, with five VIP rooms. The Chinoise Story claims that every dish is an original creation, a particularly impressive fact when one considers the substantial size of its' menu: Termed a "florilegium", the menu merits further note for the line of Chinese poetry it contains next to each dish.
