Starting times will change for the musical fountain show in the famous Wild Goose Pagoda, a 7th century Buddhist structure that symbolizes the city of Xian's rich history and culture.

Local official Zheng Dakai said they want to allow visitors to watch the musical fountain show as well as the water screen movie in the nearby Magnificent Tang Hibiscus Garden.

They also wanted to start the show in complete darkness for maximum dramatic effect.

From July 31st, the musical fountain show will start at 21:00 pm instead of 20:30 pm.
