Party with your kids
(City Weekend)
Updated: 2006-06-26 17:13

Have been dreaming about a place where parents can unwind over a burger and maybe a beer, while keeping a watchful eye over their kids? Now diners can stop dreaming and have a try at the following two restaurants.

*Blue Frog
You won't have to bring your kids kicking and screaming to the Blue Frogs in Gubei and Jinqiao. In Gubei they'll hop out of your car and make a beeline for the bar stools at the Lil' Frog, a mini-bar that distributes candy instead of alcohol and blends healthy summer shakes tailored to kids' tastes. In Jinqiao, they're apt to quickly totter off to the deck's play area. Meanwhile, parents can unwind in the adults' section over a burger and maybe a beer, while keeping a watchful eye over their lil' frogs. Now who said parents and kids can't party?

*O'Malley's
An O'Malley's soundtrack could best be described as a warm mix of friendly chatter, rowdy sports fans and the squeals of happy children. Feast on Irish and American specialties in this authentic Irish bar while enjoying live, big screen sports and complimentary pool and darts. Kids can run around the lawn and climb the outdoor playground, or hang out in their own "Mini O'Malley's Club Room" complete with TV and PS2.

Location: No.42 Taojianglu
