Located in the Lido area, nhu was opened by a group of international investors hailing from such diverse locations as Singapore, Poland, Germany and Korea.

The club is split into two levels; upstairs guests can enjoy the open-air balcony while the high rollers can head to the exclusive VIP lounge. Drinks are on the pricey side, with cocktails starting at RMB 40 and beer starting at RMB 20. The first floor is decorated with scattered tables surrounded by sleek couches, some of which can be moved out of the way to create a dance floor for future DJ-worshipping events. Alongside the dance floor is a dining room where fusion food is served. Club-goers got a taste of nhu's musical future at their opening party, where electronic music dominated the set list. Upstairs, the VIPs were treated to a mix of Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and Celine Dion.

If nhu can drop the diva act, the Lido area might have a club worthy of Beijing's business elite.
