The First Bar and Lounge has a sophisticated yet earthy feel, with plenty of reds and browns complementing the centerpiece, an abstract mosaic.

The bar area opens up to face the hotel's front desk and meanders back towards a number of private booths and an attempt at a dance floor with disco lights.

An interesting use of delicate chain curtains provides partitions for some semi-private areas, which come complete with comfy couches and a touch of class. There's a few upholstered stools at the glass-topped bar, serving the usual suspects of the spirits and cocktails world.

A Heineken will set you back RMB 28, while for RMB 40 you can get to seventh heaven via one of their specialty cocktails.
