Macao chief executive kicks off visit to Inner Mongolia

Chief Executive Edmund Ho Hau Wah of the Macao Special Administrative Region left here Tuesday for a visit to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in north China, leading a 130-strong business delegation.
In the coming five days, Ho is scheduled to meet with government authorities of Inner Mongolia and visit local enterprises, development zones, urban facilities and scenic spots, according to a government source.
A signing ceremony is scheduled for a host of cooperative projects between the two places. The Macao businessmen will visit enterprises and negotiate with entrepreneurs in Inner Mongolia.
Ho's delegation also includes Francis Tam Pak Yuen, secretary for economy and finance, and a few other government officials.
