West China trade fair for non-public sector businesses opens

The First West China Trade Fair for Businesses of Non-Public Ownership opened in this municipality in southwest China Saturday.
More than 300 enterprises of non-public ownership from 12 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in west China, and eastern coastal provinces of the country attended the five-dayevent. Representatives from Iran and Madagascar were also present at the exhibition.
Exhibited at the fair include several thousand kinds of products such as auto vehicles, motorcycles and supporting parts, light industrial products and textiles, building materials, household electric appliances and daily use necessities, chemicalsand medical treatment instruments, garments, hats and shoes, food and drink products, information services, farm produce and sideline products.
A total of 187 enterprises from Chongqing's seven districts andcounties presented a dozen kinds of products to the trade fair. The products include auto vehicles, motorcycles, building materials, food and drink products.
During the trade fair, famous Chinese economists, people from the business circles and experts of law will attend a forum on thedevelopment of non-public sector businesses in the 21st century, and activities regarding transfer of scientific and technological research achievements.
