Alexis Hooi (Singapore)
China news page editor, columnist, China Daily
Currently a national news page editor at China Daily and writes regular columns for the paper. Before joining China Daily in October 2007, Alexis was a journalist and executive sub-editor for the news desk of The Straits Times in Singapore for five years. He also studied environmental politics at Harvard University. He has also worked for media and nongovernmental organizations in the US and taught English in Japan. Alexis graduated from Boston University with a Master's Degree in journalism.
