Rescue teams are still sparing no efforts to try to find more survivors in every corner of the devastated town of Yushu, entering the sixth day after the 7.1 magnitude jolted the area.

Saving people trapped under the rubble remains a priority for the Rescue Command Headquarters, but they accept the chances for a miracle rescue are waning.

Authorities have also begun the task of trying to provide care to those whose lives have been traumatized by the quake which struck on April 14, 2010.

Preventative measure to stop the spread of disease, as well as maintaining law and order also remain a focus for local officials.
