Bodies of victims of the April 14 earthquake will be properly dealt with and buried with respect and in accordance with Tibetan customs, said a notice from the Department of Civil Affairs of Qinghai province on April 15, 2010.

For unidentified bodies of local people, a DNA database will be built before burial.
