"The Beijing Olympics was the best Olympic Games I have attended," said Bayi, who also attended the Athens Olympics in 2004.

Meanwhile, he termed China's decision to make August 8th an annual National Fitness Day as the best way to commemorate Beijing Olympics as the annual event will impress upon the public with the memory of the Olympic Games in 2008 and people will not forget the Games.

The Chinese government has decided to mark the anniversary of the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympics by making August 8th an annual National Fitness Day to promote the mass participation of sports and ensure people are physically fit, as well as have better health and enjoy a healthier life.
