China: the more I know, the more I love it

Years ago I began to study about China, as part of my work as professor. After some difficulties to obtain materials, I invite some students to be part of a study group about Chinese economy and China-Brazil relations. They have accepted the invitation and, in small time, that economic relations became the biggest of Brazilian commerce, and surpass our expectations about it.

With researches and studies we know more about China. We have discovered a lot of aspects, as Chinese traditional thinking, from Confucius to Mencius, the long history of invasions and wars, the Chinese’s people reconstruction capacity.

Recently I stayed for a month in China, visiting Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macau, and I could see the new China fast progress, and the construction of a very modern and developing country.

After sixty years we can say that China is in the way to be the biggest economy of the world. Congratulations to the Chinese people who is doing that in peace.
