Race to Huangguoshu: Half marathon held in Guizhou

Competitors from 16 provinces and cities took part in a half marathon race with Huangguoshu Waterfall as the destination September 19, 2009.

Huangguoshu is the largest waterfall of China and one of the symbolic tourist attractions in Guizhou.

The race is 21.0975 kilometers long with men's and women's disciplines. Li Yongyuan from Yunnan and Zhang Xin from Beijing won the men's and women's title respectively.

The competition attracted about 8,000 running lovers, aging from 10 to 78.
