BEIJING - Chinese President Hu Jintao stressed stability at a grand gathering marking the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party of China (CPC), saying that upholding stability is critically important.
"Without stability, nothing could be done, and even the achievements already made could be lost," Hu said when delivering a speech.
"To strike a balance among reform, develop, and stability and achieve unity of the three is an important guideline for achieving overall success in China's socialist modernization," said Hu, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee.
Zhu De, born in Yilong County of Sichuan Province in 1886 and passed away in 1976, is a great Marxist, proletarian revolutionary, statesman and military strategist.
A native of Le Zhi, in Southwest China's Sichuan Province, and awarded by the People's Republic of China the military rank of marshal; Served as the country's Vice Premier (1954-1972) and Foreign Minister (1958-1972)
