BEIJING - China Post and the State Post Bureau will jointly release a commemorative envelope on Friday to celebrate the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
The front side features "the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China," which was written by President Hu Jintao, according to a statement released Thursday after the launch ceremony of the envelope.
A stamp of the CPC emblem is located at the top right corner, and at the bottom left is an image of flowers surrounding a portion of a score from a song paying tribute to the Party.
July 1 marks the 90th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.
Zhu De, born in Yilong County of Sichuan Province in 1886 and passed away in 1976, is a great Marxist, proletarian revolutionary, statesman and military strategist.
A native of Le Zhi, in Southwest China's Sichuan Province, and awarded by the People's Republic of China the military rank of marshal; Served as the country's Vice Premier (1954-1972) and Foreign Minister (1958-1972)
