BEIJING - A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) said here Wednesday that the Chinese side is ready to further advance exchanges and cooperation of the ruling parties of China and Angola so as to promote the strategic partnership between the two countries. Liu Yunshan, member of the CPC Central Committee's Political Bureau and Secretariat and head of its Publicity Department, made the remarks during a meeting with a delegation of the People's Liberation Movement of Angola in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
Liu commented positively on the relations between the two countries and between the CPC and the People's Liberation Movement, the ruling political party of Angola.
Liu said China aims to constantly advance bilateral cooperation with Angola by reinforcing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Liu said the CPC treasures its long-standing friendship with the People's Liberation Movement of Angola.
Carlos Pinto, who headed the delegation from Angola, said the People's Liberation Movement of Angola wanted to further deepen the friendship with the CPC to advance practical cooperation between the two countries.
The delegation visited Beijing and Guangxi during the China trip, which ends later Wednesday.
