The First and Fourth Front Armies of the Red Army joined forces in Huining, Northwest China's Gansu province, on October 9, 1936. The First and Second Front Armies of the Red Army met in Jingning county, Gansu province, on October 22, 1936. After the three major forces of the Red Army met in Gansu province, the Long March came to an end. [Photo/people.com.cn]
