State Council appoints officials in Hong Kong SAR

BEIJING - China's State Council announced the appointment of two officials in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) Monday.
Stephen Sui Wai-keung has been appointed secretary for labour and welfare.
Eric Ma Siu-cheung has been named secretary for development.
The decisions were made upon the nomination of the SAR's Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying in line with the Basic Law of the Hong Kong SAR.
