Typhoon Meranti, which landed in eastern China's Fujian Province Thursday morning, has left 14 people dead and another 14 missing.
Typhoon Meranti made landfall in Xiang'an district of Xiamen City, Fujian Province, at 3:05 am Thursday, with gales up to 48 meters per second.
