This special line is part of the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway in Central China's Hunan province. It's the shortest train in terms of operation length and journey duration. But it's the most heart-warming track as it is free for passengers.
It runs from Chenzhou city to Baishidu township of Yichang city, passing three stations in total in one hour or so. It serves the people living along the line, particularly farmers who take the train to sell fruits and vegetables. Some of them can save up to two or three thousand yuan ($287- 431 dollars) of travel expenses per year.
