Xinhua | Updated: 2016-10-25 16:45
BEIJING - Chinese prosecutors have officially filed charges against two senior officials in two separate bribery cases, according to the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP).

He Jiacheng, former vice president of the Chinese Academy of Governance, and Lyu Xiwen, former deputy Party chief of Beijing, have been accused of taking advantage of their position to seek illegal benefits for others, and accepting money and property from others.

Both He and Lyu will be charged with accepting bribes, the SPP said in a statement released Tuesday, citing prosecutors in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province; and Jilin City, Jilin Province, respectively.
