First Zika case in Guangdong discharged from hospital

A man suffering the first case of the mosquito-borne Zika virus in South China's Guangdong province was discharged from a Guangzhou hospital on Thursday after two weeks of treatment. China's health authority earlier warned of the spread of the virus as spring has arrived in parts of the country. China has confirmed five imported Zika cases since reporting its first victim on Feb 9, according to the National Health and Family Planning Commission. [Photo by Tang Mingming/China Daily]
