Young entrepreneurs and industry players from China and Nordic countries gathered in Yiwu, Zhejiang province, to talk about innovation and entrepreneurship at the first Sino-Nordic Young Champions Forum which opened on Wednesday.

The two-day forum, under the title "Entrepreneurship and Dreams," will act as a platform for youngsters and entrepreneurs to share experiences and opinions.

Li Yuanchao, vice president of China, said the forum carries out the shared view of China and Nordic countries that youngsters of the two areas should communicate more.

"The global trend of industrial upgrading provides unprecedented opportunities for today's young people to start their own business," he said. "I hope they can become leaders to push forward Sino-Nordic cooperation to upper levels."

Li also said he hopes entrepreneurship cooperation among China and Nordic countries will become a solid base of deeper friendship between the two sides.

Maria Lohela, speaker of the Finnish Parliament, shared the same opinion.

"China has showed the world its achievements in many fields, and we are looking forward to start all-around cooperation with China," she said. "We are especially interested in working with China in digital industries and clean technology."

Apart from keynote speeches, the forum has separate seminars to discuss topics including innovation and entrepreneurship, Internet and entrepreneurship and politicians and entrepreneurship. Young entrepreneurs shared their experiences and discussed problems.
