BEIJING - Alimjan Maimaitiming, provincial government secretary general of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is being investigated for suspected serious violation of discipline, the Communist Party of China's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said on Sunday.
Alimjan is also a member of Party leadership group of the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
