5. Traffic controls will not apply to electric vehicles

Beijing announced that electric vehicles with licenses will not be subject to peak time traffic controls or the regular day-off once a week according to the current regulations until April 10 next year.

The regulation defines electric vehicles as "vehicles equipped with a chargeable battery as the only power source or driven by electromotor". It does not include plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.

6. Chengdu allows using medical insurance card for physical fitness

Residents of Chengdu, Southwest China’s Sichuan province can pay for physical fitness exercises with their medical insurance card account and the use of personal cards has been extended to paying for outpatient services for family members.

7. Singapore to extend tourist visa for Chinese

Rules that changed on June 1

Singapore will issue a favorable visa policy to China, extending the multiple journey visa up to 10 years, according to Immigration and Checkpoints Authority, Singapore.

The policy also permits spouses and children (below 21) of a visa holder to enjoy the same rights.
