BEIJING -- Former senior Chinese politician Li Changchun has published a book documenting the reform and opening up efforts in Liaoning Province from Dec. 12, 1982 to July 1990, when he served in the province.
Li is a former member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
Li's book is available starting Tuesday, according to a joint statement from the People's Publishing House and the Liaoning People's Publishing House, which published the book.
The book, which includes articles, letters, and photos, is important for the nation's drive to deepen reform and realize the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation, according to the statement.
