Dinner is often a time for family get-together when all members sit down by a table and talk about their life and work. However, for some, a get-together dinner doesn't come by that easy.
Li Xiaonan, an emergency room doctor, calls his wife when having supper during his night shift in Shandong Provincial Hospital in East China, on Nov 26, 2014. It has been five days since his wife's delivery, but he hasn't spent a single night having dinner with his wife or baby because he has been working the night shift ever since. On the night when his baby was born, he received more than 20 emergency patients. [Photo/CFP] |
