The annual November 11 Single's Day, an online shopping spree in China, attracts an increasing number of people into the online sales business. Some traditional Chinese farming communities have also joined the fray by transforming into Taobao villages, where the villagers work as sellers on Alibaba’s online platform, Taobao.com.
