Around 80 percent of companies, which already have labor unions, have adopted collective negotiation on wages, the top trade union body said on Friday.
Collective negotiation refers to setting wages based on negotiation and helps employees and employers maintain company stability.
"We have achieved the goal set in 2011 in the guidelines on collective negotiation, which also smoothes the way to improve collective contracts for workers," said Chen Rongshu, vice-president of the All China Federation of Trade Unions.
