Commemorating the 110th anniversary of Deng Xiaoping's birth, a TV series which tells the story of the historic transformation of China under the guidance of Deng in the late 1970s will be shown on China Central Television (CCTV) on Friday at prime time.
Made by CCTV, supported by the CCCPC Party Literature Research Office and the Party committee of Sichuan province, the 48-episode TV series took nearly four years to complete.
